Light enjoyable read I loved how the stories were all connected and how they were all easy reads. Scott apparently has a thing for 3 in relationships as soooo many different characters were on their 3rd marriage or two had 3 canceled engagements, so that was a tad annoying. Sep 18, Priyanka Bhinde salunkhe rated it it was amazing. Each story is linked with another. Beautiful plots and good refresher from my normal tastes. Sep 10, Hope rated it liked it Shelves: Good, fluffy, sweet romance fun: This was such a fun read. I love how the stories are interwoven. Lisa Scott has a great relatable voice and characters.
Yup I loved how all the stories slightly overlapped! Wasn't left hanging at the end wondering what happened next. Kristen Gold was being robbed and almost sexually attacked when Tony Malone saves her. The story is very interesting on how people judge others basically on past actions and after knowing his family is absolutely wrong how they treat him. One night when she was waiting for her friend in a bar and shooing guys, she met Drake Johnson and he was funny and handsome. Things were not so perfect when both discovered that feelings were stronger than they should be. Overall it was a very romantic story, especially when Drake decided to take them slow and show Rachel that man could be different. Aug 17, Judy rated it it was amazing.

He's in town to sell his Grandma's old Victorian Kristen's the realtor. Jun 15, Ceri rated it liked it. This is a collection of five short contemporary romance stories. They are short reads, each prob about 15 mins of reading time but long enough to conclude each story. Each story deals with a different couple in their mid 20s getting together. While none of these romances are earth-shattering, and a bit predictable, they are nice enough light reads, with a good sprinkling of humour.
Although sex is alluded to in the stories there are no detailed sex scenes. I particularly liked the fact that the This is a collection of five short contemporary romance stories. I particularly liked the fact that the five stories are all linked in some way, for example, the guy in story two has a brief appearance in story one as he is acquainted with a character in that.
The stories are 'The Hot Girls's Friend': Jane is always playing second best to her hot friend Miranda, and makes a bet with Brady the bartender that he can't find her a date in the next three weeks. I felt this one was probably the best of the bunch, although you knew where it was going it was really entertaining and Jane was a very likeable heroine.

Kristen gets saved from being attacked by Tony, who looks like the type of person she'd have crossed the street to avoid. I felt this was a bit unbelievable, Kristen really jumps into things with both feet. Carly has what she thinks will be a one night stand the night before her mum's wedding and has a surprise the next day. I liked this one too, although was quite surprised at some of the dialogue, would a guy's dad really ask his son in front of other people if his girlfriend was good in bed?!
Brianna is looking for love and puts her faith in Feng Shui to improve her love life. Rachel has never been dumped and seems to always break her boyfriends' hearts. Drake makes her an offer - he's only in the area for a few months and is unwilling to have a long term relationship so he will dump her. Silly concept, enjoyable enough story. I'm actually very surprised that I liked this book The first, "The Hot Girls Friend" was super cute, funny, and sweet. I loved it and thought it was great.
The second, "Wrong Place, Right Guy" was horrible though. There wasn't anything about that one that I liked, including the characters and the story line. The third, "Not You" was a bit strange. Two people fall in love, only to find out they I'm actually very surprised that I liked this book Two people fall in love, only to find out they are soon to be step-siblings. Although strange, it was still pretty good. The fourth, "Desperately Seeking Cupid" was decent. Again, it was sweet and cute.
The last, "Never Been dumped" was also very good. Just liked the first, it was super cute and sweet. Over all the only piece in the collection I didn't like was the second. What intrigued me even more were the tie ins between all the stories. A friend of the girl in the fourth stars in the last.
So on and so forth. The last few pages of the last story seems to tie in all of the stories, with the characters from the last meeting up with the characters from the fourth, and their friend noticing and interested in a girl from the first, and the bartender from the first being pointed out, and mention of the couples wedding from the third But just enough so that I remained intrigued and in awe of how the author made the connections work. Very interesting collection of stories.
Most of it made me smile. This would have been 5 stars if the second story wasn't so crappy. I am very interested in reading more collections like this. They were fun to read! Aug 15, Lynn added it Shelves: One of my guilty pleasures is short romance stories. I don't always have the time to read a whole book nor want to get emotionally involved with a story and just want a quick escapist HEA.

This was free on Book bub so I gave it a try. Honestly, they are often cheesy, trite, and short on character development by nature of what they are. I admit I was leery going in. I can enjoy short stories but they are so often very cheesy. Sometimes you need a reminder that not all of your life has to suck! There are challenges you need to live through to find the you you were hiding!
I rarely relate to a book, but while reading this book I smiled to myself thinking about how wonderful a piece of work this book was. She's Hot Now, shows what people go through when they lose weight and how they deal with the results of it. This book really inspired a new confidence in myself.
I have always wanted to be "the hot girl" and I know it just takes some time and concentration to get yourself to what you want to look like. The romance behind this is great. This collection of novellas is related to finding love in the workplace. They follow characters in their 20s who work together and their journey to finding love. The characters are all different with different experiences. I found the stories to be fun, swoon-worthy and hilarious at times.
The collection is very romance centered and keeps you hooked. They are not heavy and very much chick lit rom-coms!
